Meet Spartan 313 or Eave if you like, and her A.I. Pinkie
The lady who played Ice Storm asked me to flesh out her HALO Spartan OC, Eave, and her unique A.I.
Eave is a third generation Spartan, an orphan from the outer colonies who gladly volunteered, believing that the government would take better care of her then some backwater world. Interestingly enough, she excelled though the program at a remarkable rate and debuted on the battlefield in her mid teens. By the time she turned 21 she was already a skilled warrior and had served for a short time with Spartan 2’s Blue Team. Not long after, she and many of her fellow 3’s were given the chance to be folded into the newer Spartan 4 battalions, yet before she could join she was handpicked for a new A.I. program and shipped off to a secret local.
After months of training and testing, Eave was paired with a distinctively different kind of A.I., one that has chosen the form of a diminutive hyper pink party pony named Pinkie Pie. At first it was believed that the A.I. was fractured or worse, however Eave became quite possessive of the quirky A.I. and elected to keep her.Together the two made an interesting team, the outgoing and talkative Pinkie helped Eave brake past her antisocial behavioral modifications, while Eave helped the extremely random A.I. learn to focus. One of Pinkie’s more memorable stunts was to reprogram Eave’s targeting HUD with what she called “The Surprise Party” feature (also known as the Grunt’s Birthday Party). A program in which confetti and streamers appear to burst forth from heads of Eave’s killed accompanied by happy cheers, and every-so-often Pinkie yelling out “Surprise!”
I unfortunately went through several OCs over the cores of the TF game, yet this one stands out the most… Meet Reaper, a seeker with a secret past. While Reaper may share the same frame type as the Storm Sisters, she is shorter and older then Team Valkyrie. In point of fact, Reaper’s frame designation is 000-A, showing that she has a prototype Seeker Dera-frame.
This fact alone nearly gave Ratchet a permanent processor glitch.
Long before TF Prime or Bay-vers, Reaper was one of the few TFs to have her weapons able to retract into her arms, instead of being subspaced. Kinda neat if you ask me. And as for her original symbol, it was a human skull with crossed bones… something that always bothered me. That was until the movie Planes came out and I found the perfect icon for this long retired character.
Her deep secret: Reaper was a dyeing organic (human) who Primus itself gave a second chance at life. Her soul was plucked from time and infused with a small bit of Primus’ spark, all the while building her a unique VF1 Star Seeker frame. Then he placed her in a stasis pod until her time came to join Optimus Prime in battle.
She never truly joined the Autobots, and kept her unique symbol until long after the end of the war.
